Obituary for Meredith Ayres

Meredith Ayres age 96, of Mantua passed away Thursday, February 9th, 2017 in Woodbury. Meredith was the owner of Ayres Oil Service which he proudly operated with his wife. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. Meredith enjoyed time with his grandchildren and he enjoyed fishing. He also enjoyed his time spent as a Fireman with the Barnsboro Fire Company.
Meredith was predeceased by his loving wife Esther (nee Green), he is survived by his daughters Susan Hines (Edward) & Evelyn Wolfer, 13 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. Predeceased by his daughter Janet New.
Family and Friends are invited to visit from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday, February 13th, 2017 at Smith Funeral Home, Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm, with burial to follow at Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro, NJ 08020.
Donations can be made to Barnsboro United Methodist Church 125 Barnsboro Road Sewell, NJ 08080.
