Obituary for Angel L. Medina

Angel L. Medina age 70, of Pine Hill, NJ passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 25, 2015. Born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico he was a resident of Pine Hill, NJ. Angel worked for St. John of God Community Services in Westville. He was devoted to the people he served. Often Angel would wear a red nose to amuse children and adults. While working at St. John of God he was given a hospitality award and Angel was honored by going on a mission trip to Spain. There he learned about St. John of God, and their core principles which were caring, compassion, dignity, trust, respect and hospitality. Angel had a lot of energy, loved to dance, and his dancing would lead other people to dance. He also enjoyed playing percussion instruments such as the guitar, congo drums, and the uillo. Angel was a great cook, could carve fruit into animals, and make roses out of napkins. If anyone asked how he was doing, he would say "Never Better And I Am Not Kidding."

He is survived by his wife Nilda Medina (nee Flores), his two daughters, Chastity Robinson and her husband Michael; Daneen Morelli and her husband Joe, three grandchildren, Zander, Titus, and Chris. Siblings, Jose, Virginia, Iris, Terry, and Olmiraida. Angel was predeceased by his brother, Frankie.
