John VanSchenkBrill age 89, of Barnsboro, formerly of Westville, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, he came to the United States with his wife and four children in 1956. He was a Boy Scout Leader, and later coached baseball, soccer, and football. John and his wife moved to Barnsboro in 1972 and together founded VanBrill Pools in Richwood. John was known for his hard work in everything he did.

Husband of the late Geraldine "Gerry" (nee Kizitaff), he is survived by his six children, Ralph & his wife Barbara, Robert & his wife Diane, Hans & his wife Linda, Henski Savaiano & her husband Armand, Michael & his wife Suzanne, and Paul Velthoven & his wife Maria, 15 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
