Obituary for William E. "Bill" Cocchi Sr.

William E. "Bill"  Cocchi Sr.
William E. Cocchi Sr. age 80, of Thorofare, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. Bill served in the US Army in the early 1960s, and later became a carpenter. He was co-owner of Napco Cabinets in Pennsauken. Bill told stories about growing up in Grenloch Terrace and working at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach in the 1950s. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping, going out to breakfast, & trips to Bogey's at the Pitman Golf Course.

Husband of the late Joyce Cocchi (nee Herbst), he is survived by his children, Ruth Ann Beaumont of W. Deptford, Dawn Muldoon (Brian) of Mantua Twp., Robin Thies of Lindenwold, & Jason Cocchi (Karen) of W. Deptford, 6 grandchildren, Anthony Clark, Connie Hudson (Allen), Liz Schlichtig (Casey), Rachael Thomas (Derick), Brooke Thies, & Marshall Muldoon, 4 great grandchildren, his sister, Shirley Esposito, his brother, Jack Cocchi, and his companion, Carmella Kennedy. Bill was also predeceased by his son, William "Bud" E. Cocchi Jr., and several brothers & sisters.

Family & Friends may visit from 9 am to 11 am on Monday, May 1st, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street Mantua, where a funeral services will be held at 11 am. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro, NJ.
