Mary B. Rockefeller age 97 of Sewell, formerly of Pitman passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at The Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice in Voorhees Twp. Born in Philadelphia, she was a graduate of Pitman High School Class of 1937. Mary was a Training Supervisor for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Philadelphia. She enjoyed trips to the casino, knitting & crocheting baby blankets, hats, and making lap blankets for cancer patients. Mary was also a member of Pitman Eastern Star.

Wife of the late Harold R. Rockefeller she is survived by her sister, June F. Purtell of Pitman, nieces and nephews Mary Eileen Armstrong, Carol J. Breisch, Janice L. Adams, Linda J. McEvoy, Mary H. Beal, Sandy Angell Thomering, Austin Angell & Norman Angell, and many great and great great nieces and nephews. Mary was also predeceased by her brother Edward Beal, and her sister, Virginia Haberlein.

Family & Friends may visit from 10 am to 11 am on Tuesday, May 23rd, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a funeral service will be held at 11 am.
