Condolence: Dear Tom and Family,

Please know Nelle, you, and your family are in my thoughts. My heart is heavy for your loss. You and Nelle have been a very constant, and important part of my life, and I am honored and proud to call you both true friends.

You and I go way back; from public school as young kids, through college, S&S and beyond.

When your Nelle came into your life, she too became a part of my, and Ingrid's life as well. We were blessed, as were you.

You guys shared so much with us and were always there for and with us. You guys were at our engagement party, our wedding and both you and Nelle helped Ingrid and I move into our home in Milford. You supplying muscle and emotional support (lots of stress moving, especially with two babies), Nelle supplying muscle power, emotional support and oh so much yummy food, to feed that motley crew that moved us in. In record time I might add. Ergo, allowing more than enough time, after the move, to drink copious volumes of beer. Which in those days, our late brides would monitor the both of us. The lord knows we needed it.

These are all wonderful memories.

When Ingird passed, another friend of mine told me something that had helped him deal with his grief at the passing of his bride. It helped me, may it do the same for you:

"When someone you love
becomes a memory
the memory becomes
a treasure."

You and I both have so much to treasure.

With deepest sympathy, greatest love and respect for you and my dear friend Nelle.

Love,

Peter
