The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of George Kern can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolences

Condolence From: Diane Colburn
Condolence: We are all saddened by the passing of our friend and Pastor, George Kern. We love him and appreciate all the service he gave to the Plymouth Congregational Church in East Charleston, VT and to all his church family and friends. He married me and my husband, Richard, and assisted in the marriage of my daughter, Krista. He will be greatly missed especially by by Mother, Marie Nielsen, and my Aunt Anna Klaffky. May he rest in peace from all the good deeds he did in his life. Diane Colburn

Condolence: We want to express our sincere sympathy
for George. We were blessed to have had the
chance to know him and your mom Dorothy. They

We loved them both and know now Georgie is happier being with your mom.
We know they'll watch over all of you.

Condolence: I will always remember 'Mr' Kern from my days is Boy Scouts with Troop 17 at Clonmell Methodist. Can not forget our trip back from the Poconos during a massive snowstorm that forced us to leave early...had an accident in the Kern car that left me bruised knuckles, but still fond memories.
May God be with all of the family during this trying time and welcome His ' good and faithful into His arms for eternity.
