Obituary for Frank Sturr Eggert

Frank S. Eggert of Wenonah passed away on January 15, 2015 at the age of 89. A life-long nature lover, Frank led nature trails in Wenonah, volunteered maintaining the Memorial Presbyterian Church of Wenonah and traveled throughout North and South America, and even to the Arctic and Antarctica. Frank's seriousness about nature led him to devoting his life to the Boy Scouts of America. Frank served in World War II during the occupation of Japan and attained the rank of sergeant. After honorable discharge, he worked at Conrail as an accountant until his retirement. He was a dear brother to Marion Allen and the late Lynette Murray. He is survived by his nieces, Martha Temple (Allen), Beverly DeVore (Murray), Valerie Scott (Murray) and his nephew, George Allen, as well as his great nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his nephew, John Allen. Family and friends are invited to visit from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Memorial Presbyterian Church Of Wenonah 202 E. Mantua Ave. Wenonah, NJ 08090. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Memorial Presbyterian Church of Wenonah.
