James G. Manel Sr. age 91, of Glassboro passed peacefully Friday, May 14, 2021 at home with family by his side. James was born May 8, 1930 in Schuylkill Haven PA to loving parents Stanley and Arabelle Manel. He was retired as a Sheetmetal Worker with the Sheetmetal Workers Union Local 19. James liked spending his time going to Bingo with his friend Mary, loved his scratch lottery tickets, watching the Phillies games, and taking rides to Fortescue. He always enjoyed his family time with his children, grandchildren, and great grand babies.

James is survived by his children Maryann and Pat Murphy of West Deptford, Linda and Frank Rizzi of Glassboro, ten grandchildren and sixteen great grand children, brothers Don, Leon, Richard, and sisters Arabelle and Carol Dempsey.

Also by many nieces and nephews. James was predeceased by his loving wife Ella (nee New) Manel, and his children James Manel Jr., Robert Manel Sr., and Ella (Cookie) Weber. As well as Zena Fisler, Stanley Manel Jr., and Mary Manahan.
