Obituary for Andrew Batchelor Campbell Jr.

Andrew Batchelor Campbell, Jr. age 70 entered his eternal resting place on Friday January 19, 2024. We are forever grateful for the amazing care he received during the last 5 years at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. Andy was born September, 11, 1953 in Woodbury, New Jersey. He was a locksmith extraordinaire for 50 years and owner of Campbell Lock & Safe, Inc. in Westville, New Jersey for 30 years. He was also a Freemason for 40 years. Andy was an avid sports fan of the Philadelphia Flyers and Phillies. He played, coached, and was associated with multiple hockey communities. A life long music enthusiast with an eclectic taste, but his favored group was Genesis. Andy adored his time coaching and playing softball, and spent numerous hours playing golf and bowling. He was a lover of local breweries and distilleries. Andy was enamored and proud of his Scottish Heritage. He adored cooking and grilling for family and friends by the pool.

 Andy is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, JoEtta. Sons Andrew B. III (Delilah), and Bryan D. (Kaitlyn). Brother, Rick Campbell (Tammy) and Sister-in-law Betsy Campbell. Brothers-in-Law, Donald (Nicole), and Ed Heiser. Step Sisters, Loretta Dunne, Karen Porter, Lisa Jackson, their families along with multiple nieces and nephews. Also survived by grandpup, Bert. Beloved friends, John and Gayla (Aunt Pole) Garren as well as Bruce and Christine Savage.

 Andy was predeceased by his parents, Andrew B. and Laura Campbell, Mother-in-law Etta Jane Heiser, and Brother John. He was also predeceased by his fur babies, Smokey and Bear.

Family and Friends are invited to visit from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Smith Funeral Home 47 Main Street Mantua, New Jersey 08051. Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Final disposition is private.  Memories and condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com.

Memorial Reception will be Immediately following the service 4:00-6:00pm at Stella's Banquet Hall located at 201 Broadway Westville, NJ 08093.  Parking is in the rear of the building and additional public parking can be found at the Westville Municipal Building.  All are welcome.
