Annette Rains (née Mucciolo), age 85, of Mantua passed away March 26, 2020. She was born a French citizen and raised in Oran, Algeria to the late André Mucciolo and Marguerite (Abad). She immigrated to the United States and worked for Air France in New York. She loved children and worked in elementary schools as an aide while raising her children in Brooklyn, New York, and Cedar Grove, New Jersey, and later California. She worked in medical billing in Orange, California until retirement. She later moved back to New Jersey to spend her remaining years living in Mantua.
She is predeceased by her parents and son Patrick McConnell. She is survived by her children Arthur (Christine) McConnell Jr., Christopher McConnell, and Jennifer (Larry) Orvis, three grandchildren, Kyleigh, Justin, and Troy, one great-grandchild Remy, a sister Therese “Cathy” (Jack) Griffin, and brother Jean Mucciolo.
