Anthony J. Martin age 80, of Mullica Hill passed on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 surrounded by family. Anthony retired from a 28-year career as a trooper with the New Jersey State Police. He enjoyed spending his time attending horse racing, going to the casinos in Atlantic City, and taking care of his horse "Trooper". He was a former Football, Baseball, and Basketball athlete earning scholarships for all, and is a member of the South Jersey Hall of Fame in Basketball.

Anthony is survived by his loving wife Jean V. Martin (nee Mancuso), his children Anthony Martin Jr and his wife Sue, Richard Martin, Brian Martin, Michael T. Murray and his wife Barbara, Cynthia Azzari, Deborah Barber, Jeanne Penuel. His grandchildren, Paula Murray, Michael Murray, Michael Onofrio, Michelle Onofrio, Kevin Samuelson (Priscilla), Peter Marsella, Bobbie-Jean and Kristina Gray, Anthony Martin, Alyssa Martin, Jenna Martin, Austin Martin, and Giovanni Azzari. also by fourteen great grandchildren, Godchild Helen "Lucky" Nichter (Mark), and many loving cousins and friends.

Family and Friends are invited to visit from 10 am to 12 pm on Thursday, April 13th, at Smith Funeral Home ,47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a memorial service will be held at 12 PM.
