B. Jane McDermott (Somers and Lafferty) age 83, of Deptford Twp. passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019. She loved going to her church, and in her spare time she enjoyed traveling in her RV, and going to car shows. Most of all she loved being with her family and friends.

Wife of John L. McDermott, she is also survived by three children, Kathy (Eddie) Thorp, George Lafferty, and Karen (Carl) Grasso, four step-children, Tina Marie (Eddie) Arlington, Jay (Joan) McDermott, Denise (Vince) Raffa, and Dawn (Ed) Mackle, two grandchildren, Jen Thorp-Kershaw and Jason Lafferty, nine step-grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson, Eddie "Squig".

Family and Friends may visit from 6 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, January 31st, and from 9:30 am to 11 am on Friday, February 1st at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ 08051 where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 am.
