Barbara Makaro (Ware) age 66, of Mantua passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015. Born in Woodbury, Barbara had been a Gloucester County resident all of her life. She was a 1967 graduate of Clearview Regional High School, and later Gloucester County College and trained at West Jersey Hospital in Camden. Barbara worked at Elmer Hospital and many other locations and enjoyed volunteering with NJ Child Placement. Barbara is daughter of the late Helen and Charles Ware, survived by sons, Payton Makaro, Timothy Makaro and his wife Jennifer, Christopher Makaro, grandson Timothy Makaro, and brother Lee Ware. Family and Friends are invited to visit from 9:30 am to 11:00 am Monday, November 16th, at SMITH FUNERAL HOME 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ 08051. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society 1851 Old Cuthbert Road Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
