Obituary for Barbara Ann Wetzel (Smith)

Barbara Ann  Wetzel (Smith)
Barbara A. Wetzel, age 67 of Southside Alabama, formerly of Mullica Hill, NJ was called back home to be with God on October 15, 2015, at home. Barbara was a 1967 graduate of Woodbury High School. She enjoyed fishing and thrift shopping.She was the daughter of the late Francis and June Smith (nee Adams), of National Park, NJ. Barbara is survived by husband Charles, daughter Amy Davis and her husband Brian, also predeceased by son Charlie. Grandson Jacob Davis and granddaughter Kamryn Davis, the loves of her life. Siblings Joan Marchevsky (George), Francis Smith (Eileen), Dorothy Trautner, Kathleen Lowry (Kenny), Donna Villari (Sam), Christine Villari (Joe), Kenneth Smith (Claire), Lorraine Capone (Lou), Thomas Smith (Rhonda) and Phyllis Derolf (Ken), 26 nieces and nephews and 8 great nieces and nephews. Barbara loved to fish and run fishing tournament trails. She fished on the women's fishing trails, Bass'n Gals and Lady Bass in the 1980's and 90's. Barbara was the founder and Director of Coosa River Team Trail. After every tournament Barbara would say how blessed she was to have such great Fisherman and friends on the trail. They were like her second family. She truely enjoyed what she did. She would like to thank all members the CRTT. She will be dearly missed by all.
Family and friends may visit from 9:30-11 AM, Monday, October 26th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ, where a funeral service will be held at 11AM Burial will follow at Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro.
