Obituary for Benjamin F. Bauer

Benjamin F. Bauer 94, of Pitman, formerly of Lenola, Clementon, Clarksboro, and Thorofare passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2019. He was a Seabee in the US Navy during WWII, and retired from Shell Chemical Co. where he was a Process Foreman. Ben also drove buses for Kingsway School District. He was a member of American Legion Post 89, Gibbstown VFW Post 5579, the East Greenwich Fire and Ambulance Squad and the Vintage Chevrolet Club.

He is survived by his wife, Grace E. (Goldsmith), two sons, Bruce J. (Jackie) Bauer and Robert W. Bauer, seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Family and Friends may visit from 10 am to 11 am on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a funeral service will be held at 11 am. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery in Monroe Township, NJ.
