Brett K. DeCesari age 68, of Sea Isle City passed unexpectedly Wednesday, September 13, 2022. Brett was a graduate of Augusta Military Academy in Fort Defiance, VA. Brett was a teamster driving 18 wheelers for many years before his career as a mail carrier with the Gibbstown Post Office. He retired in 2016. He enjoyed going to concerts, scuba diving, riding his Harley Davidson, traveling and finding treasures while metal detecting. He was a member of the South Jersey Metal Detecting Club and the Salem County Sportsman Club.

Brett is survived by his wife Kathryn DeCesari of Pitman, his sister Bette Valentino of Delaware, two nieces Michele Ruppert and Jodi Mariano. Also, by his friend Ellen McLaughlin.

Family and Friends are invited to visit from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, New Jersey 08051. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 22, 2022, with burial to follow at Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro, NJ 08020.
