Obituary for Carmen John Mantini

Carmen J. Mantini age 77, of Wenonah passed away at home on Saturday, January 30, 2016 with his wife and children by his side. Born in West Berlin, NJ he had been a resident of Wenonah since 1963. Carmen worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass in Barrington, and Deptford Township Public School System. He was a member of the Wenonah Fire Company, and donated countless hours to the borough of Wenonah, the Garden State Paint Horse Club, and the Gloucester County 4-H Association. When Carmen wasn't working he also enjoyed golfing and spending time with his friends in the Pocono Mountains.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Mantini (nee Williams), his children, Shari L. Mantini of West Sand Lake, NY, and Michael J. Mantini of Raleigh, NC, his granddaughter, Kaylie Mantini Millar, and his numerous nieces and nephews in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Carmen was also survived by his dog Sparky. He was predeceased by his parents, Antonio Mantini & Florence (nee Ciammaichello) Mantini, his brother, John Mantini, and his sister, Rita Passalacqua (nee Mantini).

Family & friends may visit from 10 to 11 AM Wednesday, February 3rd, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a memorial service will be held at 11 AM.
