Condolence From: Nick Ponte and family
Condolence: You are in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time. We chuckled at the thought that "ants carried her through the keyhole". We believe the gate of Heaven is on the other side of that keyhole. We send our love and condolences to all of you...Kathleen, Lisa, and Nick

Condolence From: Elaine Hughes (Van's Daughter)
Condolence: After meeting Carrie about a year and a half ago, I knew that she was a very special lady. I was very happy that God blessed me with such a friendship as your mother. She was sweet, kind and I took care of her like she was my mother. My father looked after her at every meal. She was quite stubborn in letting him know that she could do things herself (which was funny) but she would let me do things for her. So, he would tell me what she needed and she would let me do them. I would tell my dad that "us women had to stick together and be independent" she would laugh and say "that's right". She always enjoyed when another woman would join the table - it seemed to brighten her up. I can't tell you how very much I am going to miss her. She was a joy that was given to me by God!! Thank you for sharing her with me. Love Always, Elaine XXOO

Condolence: We wish to express our deepest condolences to Aunt Carrie's family. We only knew her through Tom and we loved hearing the stories of such a feisty woman. We are sure she will be dearly missed but happily alive in your memories. God Bless her soul and her wonderful family.
