Charles ''Gil'' Veacock of Mantua, NJ, age 77, went home to be with his Lord on November 30, 2012. Gil raised his family with a loving heart and strong faith in God. He was an offset pressman for over 55 years before retiring from the Courier-Post. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Shirley, and spending time with his family and friends. His faith and the love of God that he instilled in his family provided them with the comfort of knowing they will all be with him again. He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Shirley J. (nee Burgett), sons Charles G. (Michele) Veacock, Jr. and Gary Veacock, daughters Sherri Veacock, Cindi (Douglass) Fearon and Peggy Veacock, grandsons Troy (Renee) Veacock, Chase Veacock, Douglass (Michelle) Fearon, Jr., and Drew Fearon, granddaughter Keri Fearon & brother George Veacock. Friends and relatives may visit with the family 10-11 AM Friday, December 7 at Calvary Bible Church, 1416 Delsea Dr., Deptford, NJ where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM.
