Obituary for Christopher T. Connelly

Christopher T.  Connelly
Christopher T. (Chris) Connelly age 70, of Sewell passed peacefully early Monday, October 3, 2022. Christopher attended Rutgers College (Camden Campus) and was a reservist member of the United States Coast Guard for six years. He was retired after working more than 30 years as a certified senior building Inspector for US Engineering Labs in NJ and Underwood Engineering. Christopher enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, boating, working in his garden, doing crossword puzzles, and reading many, many books from the Pitman Library, as well as play time with his side-kick Earl, who will miss him greatly.

Christopher is survived by his loving wife Chris Howarth Connelly, his son Michael T. Connelly (Laurie) and grandchildren Hannah and Hailey, as well as grandchildren Matthew Jr., Bryelle, Kayden, Emerson, and great grandson Bryson, (children and grandchild of his predeceased son, Matthew C. Connelly, Sr). Also survived by his stepsons, Jack Howarth (Laura) and his step-grandson Justin, stepson, Mike Howarth (Melissa), and step-grandsons, Jared and Dylan, as well as his brother, James Connelly (Tina), many nieces and nephews and best friend from grade school, Paul (Chip) Tate of New Hampshire. He is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Shirley (nee Middleton) Connelly and a brother Terrance Connelly.

Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at New St. Mary's Cemetery 515 W. Browning Road Bellmawr, New Jersey 08031.
