Christopher K. Jones age 39 passed away suddenly on March 29, 2023 in Tampa, FL.  He was raised in “Oak Valley”, Deptford Twp., NJ and attended St. Margaret’s Elementary School in Woodbury Heights, NJ.  Christopher graduated from Gloucester Catholic High School in 2001 and attended the University of South Florida majoring in accounting.  While attending college and after, Christopher worked at Naval Surface Warfare Carderock Division in Philadelphia and Delphinus Engineering in Eddystone, PA in support of our US Navy.  He then worked for Schindler Elevator Corporation in Tampa Florida as a Project Manager.  Christopher was an avid golfer and at 6’4” could hit the ball a country mile. His sense of humor and gentle ways will be missed by all who knew him. 

He is survived by his mother, Suzanne Blackmore of Tampa, FL, his grandmother, Trudy Blackmore and his father Kenneth Jones of Hilton Head, SC. 

Family and friends may visit from 10 am to 11 am on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a memorial service will be held at 11 am.  Burial will follow at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
