Obituary

Clarence L. Loghry Jr. "Lee" age 85 of Mantua Twp. passed away on Friday, February 21, 2020. He was born in a sod house in Oshkosh, NE, to the late Clarence L. Loghry Sr. and Helena (Mathis). He served in the US Army and has been a Mantua Twp. resident since 1958. Lee retired from Mantua Twp. Public Works where he worked as a mechanic. He loved fishing, boating and camping which included stays at Cherry Stone, Buena Vista and Oldmans Creek Campgrounds. Lee was a jack of all trades from working on cars or fixing things around the house. He was an active Mantua Twp. resident. Lee enjoyed helping with Mantua Fun Day, working & constructing parade floats and was a previous Grand Marshal of the parade.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ann M. Loghry (Heil), his children, Clarence L. Loghry III (Brenda) of Deptford, Ann M. Umba (Dennis) of NC, John R. Loghry of Elmer, and Tish Ericson (Scott) of OR, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two brothers, Jay Loghry (Hermine) and Robert Loghry (Candy), and his sister, Mary Ann Rust (Rob).

Family and Friends may visit from 6 pm to 7:30 pm on Wednesday, February 26th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ where Funeral Services will be held at 7:30 pm. Interment will be private. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com

I have many memories of Lee but my fondest memory is when my mom was dying fron cancerLee and Ann sat next to her bed for hours showing her pictures of the trip to nebraska. I will always be grateful to them for that. They have been parr if ny family fir 34 yrs. RIP Lee you will be missed.
