Daniel Joseph ''Dan The Man'' Mackay, age 18 of Mantua died suddenly Sunday June 4, 2006 as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident. Dan was born in Woodbury, he was a resident of Mantua, formerly of Westville. He attended Gateway and Clearview High Schools, loved sports and cheerleading. A special thank you to the Quigley family of Westville. Dan is survived by his mother Kathleen Corsini(nee Thornton) and her husband Robert of Mantua, one sister Stacy Ann Mackay, two brothers Steven W. Mackay and William Platt, and his grandfather James J. Thornton all of Mantua. Also survived by his step-brothers Robert & Michael Corsini. He was predeceased by father, Wilson Mackay and grandmother Catherine C. Thornton. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, their families and many friends. Relatives & friends may visit with the family after 9 AM Thursday at The Church of Incarnation 240 Main Street, Mantua. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 Noon.
