Darlene Bessler age 72, of Washington Twp. passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020. She was born in Philadelphia to the late Wilfred B. Smith and Elizabeth (Wright). Darlene was a member of the Lawson-Cox VFW Post 7679 Ladies Auxiliary in Mantua, and in her spare time, she enjoyed crafts, wood cutting, cooking, decorating cakes, emailing and surfing the web. Most of all Darlene loved spending time with her family.

Darlene is survived by her husband, William Bessler, three daughters, Jenise Fraser and her husband Doug of Washington Twp., Charlene Borgersen and her husband Bob of Four Oaks, NC and Billie Ann Ingram and her husband Rich (predeceased) of Egg Harbor Twp., nine loving grandchildren, Nick, Blaise, Matthew and Grady Colamarino/Fraser, Dylan and Ryan Borgersen, and Gabriel (predeceased), Carter and Olivia Ingram, her brother, Ronnie Smith (predeceased) and his wife Pat.

Family and Friends may visit from 9:30 am to 11 am on Saturday, January 11th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 am. Burial will follow at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Monroe Township, NJ.
