Denese M. Rome age 58, of West Deptford passed away peacefully Sunday, November 27, 2022, at home surrounded by family. Denese graduated nursing school at the top of her class and worked as a Registered Nurse at Temple University Hospital. Her faith was a prominent part of her everyday life. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family, hosting family events, caring for others, and loved long walks on the beach at the Jersey shore.

Denese is survived by her children, Carmella Rome (Jeffrey Szala), Eric Rome (Bethanee), Zachary Rome (Kathryn), Peter Rome, Demetri Rome, and Jeremy Rome. Her grandchildren, Isabella, Donald, Gabriella, Marcella, and Micaella Rome. As well as her siblings, Donna Rome, Deborah Rome (Jerry Guarcini), and Peter Rome (Jennifer Stearn). She was preceded in death by her loving parents Peter and Carmella Rome.

Family and Friends are invited to visit from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Smith Funeral Home 47 Main Street Mantua, New Jersey 08051. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 2, 2022, at Church of Incarnation 240 Main Street Mantua, NJ 08051, with burial to follow at Woodbury Memorial Park in West Deptford, NJ 08086.
