Don (Earl D.) Waddell age 85, of Woodbury Heights, NJ passed away peacefully into the presence of Jesus surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Born in Wilson, OK to the late Earl T. Waddell and Anna Marie (nee Donaldson), he served in the United States Army (26th Infantry) from 1958-1961. He retired from Siemens in Cherry Hill where he was a quality control manager. Don was a member of Grace Bible Church in Barrington. He was an avid mall walker and enjoyed collecting stamps in his spare time. Don was very handy around his home and loved family gatherings. Most of all he loved his family and was a devoted grandfather to his eight grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Barbara of 58 years (nee Wurst); three children, Greg Waddell of Wayne PA, Debra Fisher and her husband David of Rancocas, NJ, Nancy Johnson and her husband Charlie of Pine Hill NJ; eight grandchildren, Andrew, Ethan, Isabella, & Olina Fisher, and Amanda, Audrey, Hazel, & Noah Johnson, and his sisters-in-law, Pat Waddell and Judy Waddell. He was predeceased by his brothers, Jearl R. Waddell and Garry S. Waddell.

Family and friends are invited to visit from 9:30am to 11:00am on Saturday, May 13th, at Grace Bible Church, 887 Clements Bridge Road, Barrington, NJ 08007 where a Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be mailed/dropped off at Grace Bible Church.
