Eleanor Jane Killian age 84, of Mantua Twp. passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023 at home.  She was born in Cedarville, NJ to the late George Nardelli and Ruth (nee Hoke).  Eleanor Jane graduated from Bridgeton High School Class of 1957 where she played tennis & basketball. She studied nursing and met her husband at Centerton Lake, Centerton, NJ. Eleanor Jane married her husband, William F. Killian on June 18, 1960.  They lived in Woodlynne for one year before moving to Mantua in 1961 where they would raise three children together. Her family meant a lot to her and she always made sure they had what they needed. She planned many vacations and outings for them while still taking time for herself. She enjoyed swimming, bowling and was a member of the YMCA for many years. Jane also enjoyed traveling all over the country, especially the NJ beaches and the Bahamas. Jane was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family very much. 

She is survived by her beloved husband, William F. Killian; two daughters, Kathleen Bauman & her husband, Louis of Phoenix, AZ and Mary Jane Moffei & her husband, James of “Oak Valley” Deptford Twp.; three grandchildren, Kaylene Bauman, Sara Jane Lanciano & her husband, Domenic, and Joseph Moffei & his fiancée, Brooke Perry, and several nieces & nephews.  Eleanor Jane was predeceased by her son, William P. Killian; her sister, Carolyn Bickell & her husband, Raymond and her brother, George Nardelli & his, wife Etta. 

Family and Friends may visit from 9:30 am to 10:45 am on Wednesday, September 6th, 2023 at Church of the Incarnation, in the Kernan Center, 240 Main St., Mantua, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am.  Interment will be private.  As an expression of sympathy contributions can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or the Food Pantry at the Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main St., Mantua, NJ 08051.  Memories & condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com
