Obituary for Erik Joseph Wexler
Erik Joseph Wexler age 30 of Logan Township N.J. passed away on April 5, 2022. Erik was born in Woodbury N.J. He was employed by Raymour & Flanigan in Morrisville, Pa. Erik grew up in Logan Twp., where he attended Kingsway High School excelling at sports, earning varsity letters in wrestling and volleyball before graduating in 2010.
Erik was Highly intelligent, aspiring to learn the Japanese language and hoped to one day live in Japan. He loved knowledge and learning about history, often challenging you with a trivia question or two. Erik liked skateboarding, anime, tattoos, anything to do with Star Wars, playing video games, and skeet shooting with his family and friends.
Erik was a very loving person, his friend described him as a “genuine soul and could always light up a room”. He had a kind and compassionate heart which showed in his willingness to help others in anyway he could. Erik loved his family deeply and was always the first one to give you a Real Hug and tell you that he loved you. He was taken from us way too soon. Erik will be missed greatly, and will always be loved and never forgotten!
Erik is survived by his parents, Wendy and Joseph Wexler of Logan Twp., his brothers Patrick, Shane, and Colin Wexler and his sister-in-law Katja Wexler. He is survived by his maternal grandmother Charlene Savallisch, his paternal grandparents Bernadette and Wayne Wexler , as well as many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. We all Loved him so very much.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday April 14, 2022 at Smith Funeral Home,
47 Main Street, Mantua, N.J 08051. A Memorial service will be held at noon on Thursday at the Funeral Home.
Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, The Family is requesting donations that will be given to charities
for Drug addiction and Depression.
