Etta Jane  Heiser
Etta Jane Heiser (nee Wigglesworth), 81, of Mullica Hill went to join her father, mother and sister Patricia Musumeci (nee
Wigglesworth) in Heaven, probably on a beach. She died peacefully in her sleep 12/21/18 at home after a battle with cancer, Cancer probably cheated. She was born 9/28/37 in Mullica Hill, NJ to Kenneth and Vera Davis Wigglesworth. She is survived by her daughter, JoEtta (Andy), of Westville, Donnie (Nicole) of Williamstown, and Eddie (Tricia Jean) of Mullica Hill. Grandchildren, Drew, and Bryan Campbell, Rachel, Noah, Jacob and Abigail Heiser and Zachery, Cody and Tyler Heiser. She is also survived by her brothers, Kenneth “Jerry” Wigglesworth(Lois), Daris “Jimmy” Wigglesworth (Barbara) and her beloved aunt Jean E. “Betty”Symons (nee Davis), along with many nieces and nephews. She graduated with the Glassboro High School Class of 1955, Glassboro State College Class of 1960 and had an honorary doctorate in Gramology. She taught 5th Grade at J. Mason Tomlin School from 1960-1966 stopping to raise her family. She began working at the Gloucester County Court House in 1983, and retired in 2008, serving 9 of those years as Deputy Clerk. She was involved with the Harrison Township Historical Society for 20 years, serving as Secretary for 12 of those years. Member and Treasurer of the Friends of the Gloucester County Library System for 24 years. Longtime member and treasurer of Raccoon Valley Swim Club. She was a member and organist at Trinity Methodist Church. She enjoyed roller skating, skiing, traveling, boating, swimming, the beach and was just south enough of geeky to not wear a Star Trek uniform, though she enjoyed Science fiction and romance novels. Her love of music was shared through her children and grandchildren and they will never forget the lyrics to “On the Way to Cape May”, “Cuanto le Gusta”, “You are My Sunshine” and “Bushel and a Peck”. She touched the hearts of everyone she knew and met and will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, Dec. 29th 2018 from 9 AM until 11 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church 284 Cedar Rd. Mullica Hill, NJ. Funeral service at 11 AM. Her remains will be handled privately. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made on Etta Jane’s behalf to Friends of the Gloucester County Library, Mullica Hill, NJ, Trinity United Methodist Church, Mullica Hill, NJ or Harrison Township Historical Society, Mullica Hill, NJ.
