Obituary for Frank S. Whibley

Frank S. Whibley age 74, of Mantua Township passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020. Raised in the town of Rockdale, located in Aston, PA to the late William Whibley and Margaret (Dwyer), he graduated from Sun Valley High School in Aston, PA Class of 1964 and served in the US Army as Military Police during the Vietnam War. Frank was a Maintenance Dispatcher for Lakeview Apartments, an affiliation of Kamson Corporation. Prior to that, Frank worked for over 25 years at Medford’s Meat Company & was a member of the meat packers union. In his spare time he enjoyed reading, history (especially the Civil War), western movies and was a fan of John Wayne. He enjoyed trips to the shore with his wife Jean and loved going to The Wharf Restaurant in Wildwood.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Regina "Jean" Whibley (nee Woods), his son, Christopher M. Whibley and his son-in-law Bill Good as well as his sister, Nancy Speakman, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews. He is also survived by his dogs, Marley and Finnegan. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers-in-law, John Speakman & Walter Donnelly, and his dogs, Windsor, Chettie, Sammy, Ike, Mandy, Buster and Tugger.

Family and Friends may visit from 9 am to 11 am on Saturday, July 25th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 am. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery 240 N. Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown, NJ.
