Frederick Joseph Byrne, age 59 of Mantua Twp., NJ passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.  Born in Woodbury, NJ to the late John Thomas Byrne and Ella (nee Koch), he graduated from Gateway Regional High School Class of 1982.  He earned his bachelor's degree from DeVry University and worked for Lockheed Martin in Moorestown, NJ, where he was an Electrical Engineer.  Rick enjoyed photography, hiking, soccer and studying all things historical.  Most of all he loved his family and adored his grandchildren. 

He is survived by his wife, Lisa (nee Brink); his son, Frederick "Eric" Byrne & his wife, Lu Shu of Garnet Valley, PA and his daughter, Kelly Ogawa & her husband, Reo of Cary, NC; three grandchildren, Luna, Maya, & Noah; his siblings, Kathy Collins & her husband, John of Williamstown, NJ, Mary Narimatsu & her husband, Jim of Severna Park, MD and Maureen Walton & her husband, Bill of Oaklyn, NJ; his mother-in-law, Maeve Tuller of Westerville, OH; brothers-in-law, Jim Brink & his wife, Sue of Pickerington, OH, & Dan & his wife, Gail of Hartford, OH; his sisters-in-law, Cheri Smith & her husband, Allen of Gahanna, OH and Lisa and Marcus Fude of Speedwell,TN; and many nieces & nephews. Rick was predeceased by his brothers, John Byrne III; his great nephew, John Byrne V; his father-in-law, Robert Brink; and his stepfather-in-law, John Tuller.
