Obituary for George A. Buck

George A. Buck
Rev. George A. Buck, age 69, of Mantua went to be with the LORD on Tuesday, April 9, 2019. He was a Clearview High School graduate Class of 1967, and also a Drexel University alumna. In 1999 he found his true calling and was ordained as a Minister, serving at Gloucester County Community Church.
He was the beloved husband of Janet R. Buck (nee Henry) for 46 years. He is also survived by his daughter Carrie L. Rentz (Ed), son Lt. Col. Aaron R. Buck, granddaughter Cosette, brothers David E. (Claudia), Charles A. (Janice), sister-in-law Linda Honrath, nieces Amanda, Arielle and Johanna.
George was a special man; his humble manner and steadfast devotion positively impacted the lives of everyone he encountered. He was a wonderful husband, exceptional father and grandfather, and true friend…his passing has undoubtedly left a huge hole in the hearts of all who knew him, but we are comforted that he has gone home to be with his spiritual father in eternity.
Family and Friends are invited to visit from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Monday, April 15th, at Gloucester County Community Church, 359 Chapel Heights Rd., Washington Twp., NJ 08080. Funeral Service will follow at 5:00 pm. Burial will be Tuesday, April 16th at 11:00 am at Wenonah Cemetery, 390 Wenonah Ave, Mantua, NJ 08051.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gloucester County Community Church, 359 Chapel Heights Road, Washington Twp., NJ 08080.
