George A. Drechen age 82, of Mantua passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at home. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force. George was retired from Lockheed Martin where he worked as a Computer Specialist. He enjoyed spending his time golfing, participating in shooting sports, designing, and building many things, and making jewelry. He cherished his time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and sharing time telling stories around the fire pit in the back yard.

George is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Joyce (nee McKenna), his children John and Robin Drechen, Jennifer and Robert Spence, and James and Mari-Beth Drechen. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Mary Kate, Aiden, Ava, and Owen, many nieces and nephews, as well as other family and friends.

Family and Friends are invited to visit from 9:45 am to 10:45 am on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Church of The Incarnation 240 Main Street Mantua, New Jersey 08051. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Church of The Incarnation 240 Main Street Mantua, New Jersey 08051, with military honors to follow outside of church.
