George C. White Jr. age 96 of Mullica Hill, passed away on May 20, 2022. Born in Swedesboro to the late George C. White Sr. and Verna Mae (nee Walker) of Mullica Hill, he graduated from Glassboro High School in the early 1940s. George served in the US Navy on the USS Nevada. He was a career truck driver, continuing to work during the truck driver protests of the 1970s. George owned his own trucking company, George C. White Trucking. He was a devout Christian, and a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Mullica Hill since before recorded time. George was ornery and loved his two wives, the late Jessica White for 55 years & Sadie R. White (nee Brown) who he married at the age of 92. He loved his children and did his very best to help celebrate their milestones. George was the best PopPop any grandchild could have asked for.

He often looked back and wondered why he was so blessed. His family wonders how it was that they got to have him in their lives for so long, and what they're going to do without him.

He is survived by his wife Sadie R. White, children, Nancy Kerr & her husband Alex, Barbara Ferguson, George White III & his wife Judy, Jane Campbell, Thomas White & his wife Patti, Tracy Teesdale & her husband Patrick, Dianna Mills & her husband Paul, 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. George was predeceased by his son-in-law, Dan Campbell, his granddaughter, Katherine Campbell, his brother, H. Chester White & his wife Miriam, and his sister, Doris Bates & her husband Jim.

Relatives & Friends may visit from 9 am to 11 am on Wednesday, May 25th at Trinity United Methodist Church, 284 Cedar Road, Mullica Hill, NJ 08062 where a funeral service will be held at 11 am.
