Obituary for Geraldine A. "Gerry" Moncrief
Geraldine A. "Gerry" Moncrief age 88, of Logan Twp. passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Gerry enjoyed going to church, movies, theater, reading books, spending time with family and watching sports. Gerry’s love for animals was immense, especially her cats. She was a gentle and kind soul that inspired peace and hope in everyone. Gerry was born in Runnemede, NJ and graduated valedictorian from Paulsboro High School. Gerry worked roughly 40 years as a legal secretary in Woodbury, NJ.
She was predeceased by her husband Charles Moncrief, and survived by her daughters, Christine Hornibrook (Bob) and Lynn Dick (Warren), son, Charles Moncrief (Deb); six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and sister, Elizabeth McFarland. Predeceased by her brother, George Boone.
Family and Friends are invited to visit from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 8th, 2020 at Smith Funeral Home 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ 08051. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fellowship Bible Church, 590 Jackson Road, Sewell, NJ 08080.
