Message to the Family: My Tante Gerry touched my life in a deep and profound way. I will treasure and hold so many memories of her close to my heart. I miss her immensely. I look forward to the day we are reunited in glory.

Message to the Family: Only today I heard the sad news of Gerry's passing. I wish I had known, I would certainly have tried to come over. We go back a long time, from the time I spent and stayed with the entire Van Brill family (in the old house) and pushing concrete in the business to the multiple visits and interactions throughout the years after that. I have nothing but wonderful memories, Gerry's unparalelled hospitality and enthusiasm, the Indo connection, her love for Joop, her children and grandchildren. I feel sad Ive not been able to speak to her in her last year. My heart is with her. She was so easy to talk to and was always eager to share her stories or use her wisdom to help solve problems!
