Hans Reider Versland, age 85, of Ewan, passed away Saturday November 17, 2018 at Inspira Medical Center in Woodbury. Hans was a veteran of the United States Air Force and had been employed, for over 30 years, by the Mobil Oil Corporation. He was an avid outdoorsman and beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Hans is survived by his wife Barbara Shreeves Versland. They were high school sweethearts and had been married for 61 years. He is also survived by his son Mark R. and his wife Heidi, daughter Gail V. Strehler and her husband Paul, grandchildren Luke and Matthew Versland, Barbara, Don and Stephen Strehler.
Family and Friends are invited to visit from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, New Jersey 08051. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm. Burial with military honors to follow at Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro, NJ.
