Herbert Miller age 89, of Mantua passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018. Born in Woodbury to the late Raymond Miller and Nellie (nee Dean), he retired from Pitman Country Club where he was a supervisor. In his spare time, Herbert enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and farming.
Husband of the late Gladys (nee Dilkes), he is survived by his children, Herbert R. Miller of Mantua, Joanne Marchetti of Monroeville, Bonnie Geiser of Glassboro, Sandy Young of Sewell, Carol Benedict of Clayton, Shirley Golding of West Deptford, Ricky Miller of Deptford, Lilly Lawley of Del Haven, and Patty Burger of Wenonah, 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, his brother, Robert Miller of Williamstown, and his sister, Nellie Sanderson of DE. Herbert was predeceased by his son, Ronnie Miller of Mantua.
Family and Friends may visit from 11 am to 12:30 pm on Tuesday, November 27th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ where funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm.
