Howard A. Dietrich, Jr, son of Thelma and Howard A. Dietrich, Sr, died June 15, 2020 at his home in Mantua, NJ at the age of 83. He was an avid camper who enjoyed watching Phillies baseball, playing pinochle, boating, snow skiing, and bowling. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1958 in the 155th Field Artillery Headquarters. He started his 44-year career with Bell Telephone as a mail clerk and eventually filled nearly every position in the company, rising to supervisor and safety instructor for Pennsylvania Bell Telephone. He served as a member of the session at the First Presbyterian Church of Pitman, NJ. He was also a proud member of the American Legion. He truly loved life, enjoyed family and food.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Clare Dietrich, and is survived by his wife Donna Dietrich; his son Howard A. Dietrich III and Deborah, his wife; his grandchildren, Connie Dietrich and Howard Alexander Dietrich (fiancée, Jessica Guy). Relatives and Friends may visit from 9 AM to 11 AM on Monday, June 22nd at The First Presbyterian Church in Pitman, 10 Wildwood Ave., Pitman, NJ.
