Obituary for Ida May Boeckle (Frye)

Ida May Boeckle (nee Frye) age 85, of Monroeville passed peacefully Saturday, August 13, 2022, at home with family by her side. Ida spent her years as a dedicated homemaker raising her family. She was a longtime Ferrell United Methodist Church member, Secretary of Church Council, coordinator of special events, communion steward, church greeter, and chairperson for the craft show and fundraisers. She loved to do crosswords puzzles, sing church hymns, and had a quick wit that kept you laughing.

Ida is survived by her children James M Boeckle Jr., Janet L. (Thomas) Atack, Donna M. (Chuck) Nestore, William E. (MaryBeth) Boeckle, Fredrick C. (Susan) Boeckle, David A. (Michelle) Boeckle, and Lynda K. (Darren) Cusano. Also, by her Grandchildren Thomas Jr, Christopher, and Matthew Atack, Joy Lescure, Bria Nestore, Jim, Emma, Garrett, and Jenna Boeckle, Brynn Cusano, Elyce Otto, Sheena Walker, and Ralph Otto. And, Great Grandchildren Eli, Nathan and Zoe Atack, Jase, Brantley, Alexa, and Hadley Lescure, Danni Meissner, Layla and Selena Perez, Kayla DeCesari, Jason Perez, Chase, Cameron, and Christian Otto. Also, by her sister Rebecca Metcalf. She was predeceased by her husband James M. Boeckle Sr., her siblings Howard Frye, Raymond Frye, Alma Stevenson, Samuel Frye, Marietta Wesley, Betty Darrell, Warren Frye, Bertha DeLeeuw, Harry Frye, and Grandson Charlie Otto.

Family and Friends are invited to visit from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Smith Funeral Home 47 Main Street Mantua, New Jersey 08051. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 pm, with burial to follow at Ferrell United Methodist Cemetery.
