Irene M. Stefanski (nee Costroff) age 89, of Mantua passed Sunday, October 9, 2022. Irene spent her years as a dedicated homemaker to her family, while occasionally working as a cashier at local supermarkets. She was known to enjoy going to the Casino, working in her garden, and being involved in her neighborhood. Irene also loved spending time with her family, her parrot Bud and her friends at Cedar Grove, especially the "Golden Girls".

Irene is survived by her children Kathy and Don Mills, Donna Stefanski, Henry Jr., Joe and Debbie Stefanski, Maryann and Curt McDonald and Robyn Blanchard. Also, by thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband Henry J. Stefanski, two sons Henry, Jr. and Mark, and her brothers and sisters Sophie, Walt, Meron, Josephine (Josie), Julie, John and Joseph.

Family and Friends are invited to visit from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on Monday, October 17, 2022, at Infant Jesus Parish at St. Margaret's Church, Third and Beech Streets Woodbury Heights, NJ 08097. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am. Burial to follow on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 11:30 am in Beverly National Cemetery in Beverly, NJ.
