Obituary for Jacalyn E. Rizzi (Klatt)

Jacalyn E. Rizzi age 56, of "Sewell" Mantua Twp. passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 27, 2021 surrounded by her beloved family. Born in Philadelphia to Joanne Klatt (Conway) and late William Klatt, she was a lifelong resident of Gloucester County. Jackie graduated from Clearview High School in 1982. She was a talented hair stylist, and the former owner of The Langmore Salon in Mullica Hill. Jackie loved being outdoors, where she would often be found tending to her vegetable garden, enjoying nature, or helping with her family business at Rizzi Tree Farm. She also enjoyed flowers, her favorites were roses and daffodils. Jackie loved going to Ocean City and enjoying the beach, especially the annual family vacations. She loved Irish Music and old time Country songs. Jackie was an amazing hostess; she was known for her delicious Thanksgiving dinners and St. Patrick Day celebrations. Jackie was a dear friend to many, she loved to laugh, and showed everyone what courage and strength were all about. Most of all, she was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister and the best Gigi. Jackie will truly be missed by all.

Jacalyn is survived by her husband, Angelo R. Rizzi, Jr.; children, Angelo III & his wife Lauren of Baltimore, MD, Ranae Schock & her husband Nick of Woolwich, and Olivia Robinson and her husband John, IV of Mantua; beloved grandchildren, Jack, Kara, Angelo IV, Roman and John V; her mother, Joanne Klatt (nee Conway); sisters, Beverly DeBlaker (Eric) and Theresa Klatt; father-in-law, Angelo Rizzi, Sr.; sister-in-law, JoAnn Bergman (Scott); brother-in-law, Frank Rizzi (Linda); and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, William J. Klatt, and mother-in-law, Corinne Rizzi.

Family and Friends may visit from 4 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, March 4th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Friday, March 5th at Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main Street in Mantua. Interment will be private.
