Jacques A. Revoir age 83, of Mantua passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016. Born in Syracuse, NY, he has been a resident of Mantua since 1964. Jacques served in the Marines for 20 years and retired as a MSGT. He also worked at General Engines for 40 years in Mickleton and retired in 2012. Jacques was a member of the Lawson-Cox - VFW Post # 7679 in Mantua, enjoyed photography, and taking care of his home. Most of all he loved his family and adored his grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Husband of the late Mary Ellen Revoir (nee Baumgardener), he is survived by his four daughters, Denise Butler, Paula Starr, Yvonne Goodman, & Valorie Revoir all of Mantua, his son, Jacques Revoir II of Jacksonville, NC, 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, his long time companion Jean Raiverly, and his adopted daughter #5, Ilonka Montgomery.

Family & friends may visit from 10 to 11 AM on Wednesday, May 18th at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM. Burial with military honors will follow at Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro. As an expression of sympathy, contributions can be made to Alzheimer's Assoc.
