Obituary for Jaime Fallon

Jaime Fallon age 59, of Wenonah passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023 after a brief and sudden illness. She was born in New York City and raised in Hamburg, Germany and Ramsey, New Jersey. She graduated from Ramsey High School Class and Fairleigh Dickinson University. Her passions in life were her family, her dog, her many friends, her home, her garden, tennis, and her adopted hometown.

She was a loving and devoted mother who was active in her children’s lives. Jaime loved being a class and team Mom, running a snack bar and cooking team dinners. She would start and end her day by walking her dog Olive in the Wenonah woods. Any day of playing tennis was a great day and she appreciated that they treated her as one of the guys. Jaime was an outstanding cook and fluent in four languages. She meticulously managed and decorated her house and garden year-round. She liked her coffee strong, her white wine dry.

She was persistently giving, charitable, and loved to surprise people with gifts (large & small) to show acts of kindness. Jaime made and donated gifts, ornaments, and blankets for elementary school fundraisers. She also made knit hats, blankets, and other comfort items for hundreds of patients in various hospitals. She helped Santa write hundreds of letters each Christmas season to kids in Wenonah through the library and more personalized letters to her friends & family.

Jaime cherished her life in Wenonah and her relationships with many neighbors. She spent thousands of hours walking through the trails and enjoyed talking to everyone she met along the way. The woods were her happy place from which she drew comfort, hope and inspiration. Jaime loved engaging with her many friends & social groups on Facebook. She was active in Cairn terrier and Westie Facebook sites which brought her great friends and many long-term relationships. Reconnecting with her Ramsey High School friends was a special joy and attending their reunions brought her much happiness. Jaime was active on the "Buy Nothing Wenonah" Facebook page. She was delighted to tell everyone stories of exchanging items with neighbors and how she and others could bring new life to those items. During the pandemic she tried to give away one thing per day to maintain and build relationships. She was also active in many health, cooking, and support groups. All these groups, as well as keeping up with friends and family, brought her a tremendous sense of satisfaction and comfort.

Most of all she loved her husband, adored her children and their partners and cherished her extended family. As an only child marrying into a large family, she was both excited and overwhelmed at the same time by all the personalities and dynamics. She always tried to live up to the expectations of Grandma Kay of keeping the family together and was enthusiastic about family gatherings.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Fallon Jr., two children, Spencer Fallon (Olivia Lee) and Nicole Fallon (Drew Stackhouse), her mother, Ruth Richards (nee Seidel), brothers & sisters in-law, Julie Cassidy, Ed Fallon (Maryanne), Joe Fallon (Kathy), Kathy Fallon, Ellen Malone, and Monique Collins (Steve), nieces & nephews, Tim, Briana, Ryan, Kendall, Connor, Lauren, Patrick, Sean, Lucy, Maria, Mikhail, Shannon, Kathleen, Allison, many great nieces, nephews, cousins, and her faithful and precious dog Olive. Jaime was predeceased by her beloved father & mother in-law, Michael Sr. & Kathleen Fallon, and her dog Milkshake.
