James Joseph  Barton Sr.
James Joseph Barton Sr "Jay", age 62 of Wenonah passed away peacefully at home with his family on Tuesday, January 12th, 2016. Jay was Self-employed as owner of Jaybar Contracting. He enjoyed spending his time operating his equipment and tinkering in the shop and was known as a bit of a "MacGyver" in the field. Jay will be remembered as a very giving and kind man, avid Rottie lover, and devout Catholic. He also enjoyed travelling with his family and fishing with his daughter and grandson. He will be deeply missed.

James is survived by his loving wife Eileen Barton (nee Beecher) and his children James Barton, Jr. (Tammy), Katie Barton Esposito (Michael), and Chris Barton (Jessica), Non-Biological children Anne Miller and Ellen Holmes. Grandchildren Sabrina, Sarah, and Michael. Also by Brother Donald Barton and Sister Donna Strandwitz. Predeceased by Brother George Barton.

Family and Friends are invited to visit from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, January 15th, 2016 at Smith Funeral Home. And Saturday from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Holy Angels Parish At St. Patrick's Church 64 Cooper Street Woodbury, New Jersey 08096. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am in Holy Angels Parish at St. Patrick's Church 64 Cooper Street Woodbury, New Jersey 08096, with Inurnment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Chews Landing, NJ.
