James
T.
Carracino,
Jr.
James "Charlie" or "Jim" T. Carracino, Jr. of Mullica Hill celebrated his 80th birthday on February 21st. He was surrounded by his family when he passed on May 14, 2023 after a long battle with heart disease. Jim was a devoted son to James T. Carracino, Sr., and Maria "May" Carracino (Long) of Mt. Ephraim and older brother to Robert Carracino (deceased).
He was a proud graduate of Audubon High School and served in the US Air Force from 1961-1965 in the Strategic Air Command. He got his private pilot license through the VA and enjoyed flying when he could. Jim married the love of his life, Lois (Shute) Carracino in 1969. They had two beautiful daughters, Sandi McCafferty (Jim) and Kim Marino (Sebastian) and five grandchildren; Domenic, Anthony, Hailey, Josh, and Julia.
Loyal and hardworking, he joined Atlantic City Electric and worked for four decades before retiring as a residential representative. Jim enjoyed his house at the shore, boating, fishing, watching the water and giving golf cart rides to his grandkids. When not at the shore, Jim could be found tinkering in one of his many garages. He could fix just about anything.
