James "Jim" Howard Mendenhall, age 66, of Woodbury, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, April 16, 2021. Born December 13, 1954 in Woodbury, New Jersey to Donald Mendenhall and the late Doris Mendenhall (nee Williams). He graduated from Clearview Regional High School in 1973. Jim worked for various trucking companies throughout his time, but ended his career with Old Dominion Freight Line in Pennsauken Twp., New Jersey.

In his spare time, Jim loved to build just about anything and cars, but his all time favorite memories were his trips to Pleasant Valley Campground and Lake Lenape in Mays Landing, where he took his family and their friends to camp, tube and waterski on the family’s boat. Jim also loved his dogs Whiddle and Spanky, as well as his "half-adopted" dog Rogue.

Jim is survived by his two daughters, Cynthia "Cindy" Mendenhall (Mike Meyers) of Milmay and Danielle Mendenhall (Dave Bourke) of Monroe Twp., his grandson Chase Bourke, his father Donald Mendenhall, and his longtime girlfriend, Sharon Whitman.

Family and friends will be invited to gather privately to celebrate Jim’s life and share their memories of him.
