Obituary for Janet E. McKinney

Janet E. Booth McKinney age 79, of Mantua Twp. NJ passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021. Born in Camden, NJ to the late Harry Petrauschke and Edna (Schmicke), she was the State Director and Teacher for Gospel Ministry to Children of South Jersey. Janet was a servant of the Lord and a member of Awana which helps local churches reach children, youth, and their families with the gospel. She was a Sunday school teacher and active with Vacation Bible Schools, backyard clubs, and Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). Janet was a Brownie Leader and Den Mother. Janet’s happy place was Grassy Sounds, NJ. She loved the seashore where she enjoyed gardening, fishing, crabbing and her lifelong friends and families.

Wife of the late Howard Blaine Booth Sr. and Robert D. McKinney, she is survived by her children, Carla V. Kirkpatrick of Gloucester City, NJ and Howard Blaine Jr. & his wife Ann Marie, four grandchildren, Lindzey Fox, Nicole Bompadre, Matthew Booth & Howard Blaine Booth III "Bubba", three great grandchildren, Steven G. Fox, Zachary A. Bompadre & Jasen H. Fox. Survived by her sister, Jessie Wirtz & her husband Robert of Florida. Janet was also predeceased by her brother, Warren H. Rich & his wife Joan.
