Obituary for Janis Green-Carlin (Green)

Janis  Green-Carlin (Green)
On Friday January 19, 2018 Janis Green-Carlin, age 55, of Mantua, NJ passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was the devoted wife of John T. Carlin. Her favorite job was being the mother to her only daughter, Elizabeth Carlin. She was an animal lover and loved spending time with her dogs and cats. Janis is survived by her brother Joseph DeGenova and her sisters: Jeanne Griscom, Eileen DeGenova, Caryle Cattafi, Christine Frekot, Michel GiGante, Andrea Bonner, and Leslie Green. She is predeceased by her mother Margaret Green, her father David Green, and her brother Jesse Green. Janis will also be forever remembered by her many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Smith Funeral Home 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ 08051. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday followed by burial at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery in Monroe Township, NJ 08094. Donations can be made to your local Animal Shelter or the American Cancer Society in memory of Janis. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com
